Hello. New here on Visa Journey. I don't know if I have a similar case here, but here goes.

My husband and I got married on Jan.2015. July that year, I sent him all the necessary papers for our petition needed from my side. But due to financial constraints, we weren't able to submit it. Now, we're planning to start our visa journey, and we don't know where to start. :dead:

My questions are:

1. Do I need to fill-up another i-130A form or was the one from 2yrs ago still valid? or should we just send a new one as I saw that the current forms are from this year anyway? :(

2. My husband is planning to move from his apartment, can we just use his parent's address as his permanent address so we won't lose any mails from the USCIS, as they live on the same state anyway?

3. All present address and permanent address written on the form were in the Philippines, but right now, I am working here in Saudi Arabia and will finish on March 2018. We want all our papers to be processed on the US embassy in the Philippines, is it okay not to declare that I'm currently working here as I'll be leaving in a few months anyway and will probably be in Manila before we begin with the NVC stage?

Thank you so much for your help...

You'll need to complete the latest edition forms including the I-130A which replaced the G-325A.

2. My husband is planning to move from his apartment, can we just use his parent's address as his permanent address so we won't lose any mails from the USCIS, as they live on the same state anyway?

Yes, not a problem. Just list that as his mailing address. Physical address will be where he actually lives.

3. All present address and permanent address written on the form were in the Philippines, but right now, I am working here in Saudi Arabia and will finish on March 2018. Not sure. See what others say :)

Thank you so much for your help...

These statements carry little to zero weight in the overall evaluation of a file and are not required.  If you have plenty of other evidence of time spent together in-person, skip these statements.

The foreigner no longer needs to sign anything or provide a passport photo, but all the forms have changed.  New ones will need to be completed and filed.

You can state that you wish to have your interview in Manila but with your current address not being in the Philippines, you will likely need to request a change of Consulate, when your case gets to the National Visa Center.

When we do get to NVC, I know one of the documents needed is a police clearance from all the countries I've been for more than 6mos. Will they still require me to provide one from here (Saudi); even if I'm back at the Philippines by the time our papers would be at the NVC, because we started to process our papers whilst I'm still physically present here?

Yes and no.  You should get one before you leave Saudi but if you don't, you can't get it after you leave.  When it is not obtainable, it isn't required.
