Getting ready to file K1 for Jamaican Citizen. Any helpful advice?

No,not automatically. I heard of some not getting a ban or a lesser ban. It depends on the findings on the medical exam and the IO.

???  Wrong. CR1 does not better you chances or lessen your ban. The pros would be it costs less than K1 + AOS and he can work sooner.

Ok I'm assuming their eyes may begin to yellow or turn brown, and I never knew the hand thing... Hopefully her fiancé won't have this since it was a one time thing.... Hopefully it was only one time

So if u say no but your urine is clean how can they tell?? I read somewhere one time use of marijuana is ok like if u say u experimented or tried before but didn't like it or was at a party or something...I read a lot of Jamaicans say lie cus admittance results n ban while Americans say b truthful smh it's crazy n I'm confused cus I'm American n have smoked for yrs quit n passed last 2 urine tests for work so seems like he could do the same if it's been over 6 mths since he smoke? Jus worried honesty will b our enemy we've waited 6 mths already! So they check your hands lol seems like residue shouldn't stay on skin long though?

First of all it is against TOS rules here on VJ to advise anyone to lie or not be fully honest.  So you will not find anyone here with any VJ experience helping you with this^^^^ argument. I've seen your other post and you keep trying this line of thinking.  It is wrong and nonsense.

Secondly, it is fraud and misrepresentation to lie on visa applications, forms, documents, or in interviews.  If caught you face a lifetime ban.

Thirdly, it does not matter what other Jamaicans, Americans, or anyone else does or tells you....you need to be honest!  Do you really think the embassy, medical doctors, IOs are new at this?  

Fourth, as I have said before one year (if you even get that) is nothing.  It is a drop in the bucket compared to a lifetime.  You've waited 6 months already?  My husband and I went 2 years through this K1 process.  Guess what we made out and are stronger for it.  If your love and relationship are real time doesn't diminish it.

Never did I ask for any to tell me to lie and it was actually on this very website when Jamerica and others said that they would advise so why they advised it and how Jamaica consulate is no tolerance.  It was on these forums that said one time use was said to be ok for marijuana. I am seeking opinions and experiences as some people said they don't even ask while others said they have a one year ban. Yes our love is real no question but money is real too and this long distance relationship is quite expensive phone calls travel lawyers so imagine another year! Thanks for your comment.

Ok great!  Didn't want you to get suspended by moderators for continued talk of dishonesty or the embassy not being able to find out things.  I know exactly what you mean.  I visited him 7 times in two years.  Some things we found helpful....use wifi whenever possible. When my husband found places with public wifi we would Skype.  I'm sure you use Whatsapp and/or FB messenger for calling and messaging.  When no wifi available, put credit on his phone from here.  It was much cheaper for me to send him digicel/lime credits.  We talked everyday multiple times and sometimes for hours.  $20 would last almost a month.  Learned lots of travel tips, if you ever need those.

Lawyer?  Not sure why that would be necessary in your case, unless there is something else.  Lawyers cannot speed anything up.  The guides and forums here are very useful.  Good Luck!

As for lawyer I'm  learning that now smh! It's more of a lawyer service something called rapid visa and it was $1200! Now I see I could've filed it myself as they only correspond via email! Doesn't FB require wifi for calls? Is it better than WhatsApp or about the same? Please can you mesaage me travel tips? I'm going on my 3rd third trip end of month but was debating should I wait as we received NOA1 on May 8th? Seems to be taking longer than expected but if there's a chance he could come by November I was thinking of waiting to save the $ but haven't heard a word yet and it's been 20wks! Please reply LionessDeon.
