NOA 1, when? (merged)

i just noticed from my bank account that uscis cashed my checks on 8/10, so how long does it take to have the NOA in mail. Also if they text message then they send it to my husband or for both of us?

Generally 7-10 business days to receive the NOA in the mail.  Sometimes they won't sent the NOA until the check actually clears through your bank, in which case it can be a bit longer.

 

The number USCIS texts will depend on the number you put on the application.

He didnt filed G-1145 and on the forms we sent out have numbers of both of us. specially the pages we signed

Did you file from Vietnam?

 

I filed from Vietnam and despite filling out and filing the G-1145 when we filed our I-130, we only received one email regarding our NOA1. We never received an SMS and no email for NOA2, either. No regular mail for either notice either.

 

The only way I see updates was to compulsively check our case status here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

 

It's quite frustrating filing from abroad, to be honest.
