Media Matters Is Coming For Sean Hannity’s Advertisers — And His Job

Left-wing activist group Media Matters, which previously led the charge to take down former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, is now coming for Sean Hannity.

The powerful left-wing organization is ramping up a pressure campaign against the pro-Trump host’s advertisers. The front page of Media Matters’ website makes clear what the goal is: taking down Hannity.

 

The page directs Media Matters’ leftist supporters to a petition page where they can help “Stop Sean Hannity” by sending the message to his advertisers that they “will get burned if they continue to associate with Hannity.”

The site also prominently features a list of Hannity’s advertisers that states: “Sean Hannity is functioning as a propagandist in order to advance a political agenda in support of Donald Trump.” The list was last updated on Thursday, according to Media Matters.

 

Media Matters is whipping its supporters into a frenzy over email and social media as well.

“Today, Media Matters is launching an effort to encourage Hannity’s sponsors to stop financially supporting his propaganda,” reads a Media Matters email sent to supporters on Friday evening. “At this point, if a company is sponsoring Sean Hannity’s show, it’s essentially supporting a Trump propaganda operation.” The email includes a link to the petition page targeting Hannity’s advertisers.

Media Matters is flooding social media with negative posts from Hannity’s long career as a TV and radio host, as well as periodically blasting out a list of Hannity’s advertisers.

Gotta love the mob mentality of trying to get someone fired from his job because he peddles opinions you don't personally like. But that's how tolerant the left are. 

 

I encourage more of this. Reason? The left had been very successful in recent years of getting people fired who they didn't like by acting offended at the things they say, even conjuring up being offended. People are being fed up of the lefts whiny tantrums. The more they do this, the more fed up people will become. They'll effectively be forced back into the position they were in for countless years before, tolerating opinions they don't like or just ignoring them.
