Jared Kushner failed to disclose dozens of financial holdings that he was required to declare when he joined the White House as an adviser to President Trump, his father-in-law, according to a revised formreleased Friday.

separate document released Friday also showed that Kushner’s wife, presidential daughter Ivanka Trump, had been paid as much as $5 million from her outside businesses over an 84-day span this spring around the time she entered the White House as a senior adviser and pledged to distance herself from her private holdings.

Kushner’s new disclosure, released by the White House, detailed more than 70 assets that his attorneys said he had inadvertently left out of earlier filings. The new document comes as the presidential aide faces increasing scrutiny as part of investigations into alleged Russian influence in the 2016 campaign.

In recent months, Kushner also has updated a national security questionnaire in which he had failed to disclose more than 100 calls or meetings with representatives from foreign countries — and he is scheduled to appear Monday at a closed-door meeting of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Jared Kushner confirmed four contacts with Russians during his father-in-law’s presidential campaign or after the election, he said, but he described the encounters as unmemorable and denied colluding with the Russian government to help Donald Trump win.

In the most consequential meeting, Kushner said he agreed to meet with a Russian banker, Sergey Gorkov, on Dec. 13 at the request of the Russian ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak.

“I did not collude, nor know of anyone else in the campaign who colluded, with any foreign government,” Kushner said in a statement prepared for an interview with the Senate Intelligence Committee on Monday. “I had no improper contacts. I have not relied on Russian funds to finance my business activities in the private sector.”

The Senate Intelligence Committee is investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign, including whether Trump’s campaign colluded with a Russian government effort to tip the election toward Trump.

Kushner, who is a White House senior adviser, prepared an 11-page statement covering his contacts with Russians during Trump’s campaign and transition and questions about his SF-86 disclosure form for national security clearance.

Honestly it makes him look bad no matter which way you spin it. There are only two options:

1. He truly "forgot" to disclose dozens of financial holdings, and it was completely innocent - He's an idiot

2. He intentionally didn't disclose the holdings - He is corrupt

I'm not sure which would be more embarassing. Not sure what kind of "advisor" he thinks he is when he can't keep track of his own financial assets, especially considering I'm sure he had help from advisors, lawyers etc... when making the disclosures.

Isn't it interesting that these people claim to never have met with Russians, and then, all you need is a video of them meeting with Russians for them to magically remember everything?

Or in this case, nobody remembered these documents existed, until they make the headlines.
