I'm sorry if this question has been brought up before, I'm wondering wether my email will be checked in the process of getting a K-1
and if so, will they be able to see deleted emails?

During a three month trip to New York I did volunteer work (at a hostel) to have a place to stay. I'm scared that they will find out and deny my visa.

I doubt they will ask to access emails, however, i have read about someone, they took his phone at POE for about 2 hours, found out he was working part-time and denied him entry. That was on another visa category though.

It's not easy for anyone to see deleted emails. But remember that by withholding this information you are knowing lying on a visa application for immigration purposes. No one here can condone that, it's illegal.
