We are currently in the AOS process and received our Biometrics appointment which is on July 18. The USCIS office is only about 2 miles from our home. Nowhere on the notice does it state that the USC must accompany the spouse to the appointment. I have to work and its only a few min away. Is it OK if I do not attend this?

My wife speaks good English and I presume this is just finger prints so it couldn't/shouldn't be too difficult.

Thanks

hi sir jakartausa, can I ask when did you receive your NOA1 for adjustment of status? I'm worried about my case, they never gave me an appointment yet for Biometrics. they receive the case April 17,2017. if I'm looking at the timelines mine is one of the longest NOA 1 to Biometric schedule.
