Filing Fee for I-485 ???1,140$

ASKING FOR A FRIEND.

 

mY FRIEND IS FILING FOR HER HUSBAND AOS WHICH IS THE i-485. THE CURRENT FEE IS 1,140. IS THE EAD/AP FEE WAIVED FROM AOS FEE?

 

I DID MY AOS LAST YR FOR MY HUSBAND BUT THE FEE WAS ONLY 1,070 ALL IN ALL INCLUDING EAD/AP.

Yes but they also need the $85 bio fee. So $1,225 in total.

 

Yes EAD/AP fee is waived when filing with AOS.

USCIS raised prices effective December 23, 2016, which is why the price is different from what you paid earlier last year for your husband. Best of luck to your friends as they go through AOS!

Yes it is included, with an additional fee of $85 for biometrics and also make sure you are using the current Forms on USCIS websites. Good luck
