Hey everyone ,

i and my wife we originally from Morocco and she lives in Spain for 11 years we got married on 2012 . I applied for her green card based in us citizen  on march 2016 , from the begging everything was delayed our cases stayed in USCIS for about 10 moths because they sent us bona fide marriage then we got approved and moved to NVC and also our case had to stay for outher 8 months there  after they schedule her interview in Spain consulat on may 25th, 2017 , in the day of the interview everything was good they didn't ask her much question CO told her your visa is approved and we knew this marriage is real you don't need to approve us more evidence you will get ur passport back during one week but you should send us some extra  information by the emeil bout your last 15 years travel and work and phone numbers you been used . We sent them all document next day and they got them but since that time we still waiting no update and website keep saying  case is under administrative processing , I tried to contact the consulat by the phone but no answer , please some advise or help about this situation .

thanks to all

This kind of administrative processing can take from a few weeks to a few months.  In the meantime, it's a black hole, meaning no information will be available until THEY contact your wife.  Frustrating as that seems, it's just part of the territory.

Thanks pushprk for this information ,  why they gonna contact my wife ? To tell her ur passport is ready or for asking more question ? And also they keep her passport and if this process will take few months we might have to get her passport back because she needs  to travel they can't hold her life for nothing .

You won't know the answer to your question until they contact her.  If she needs her passport back, she can request it any time.  They'll just request it from her again when they are ready for it.  The AP is going to take how long it takes and whatever course it takes.
