My husbands case was sent to Nvc in March and fees were paid. We have a lawyer and I called him to let him know we were approved and he said pay fees and he'll contact me. well I contacted him and let him know we had all our NVc papers ready (my husband is here illegaly) I asked if 1-601 a would be filed first and he said no. well its been 3 months and no contact from him he said give him 2 weeks and he wont reply to emails and with calls he just says he will call back when he looks at our file. I understand that things got crazy after the new president and he even said he has too many cases. i guess my question is if there is any way to check if our case is anywhere?

Nothing has got crazy, I would find a new lawyer. Does not sound right.

At first I was mad now I'm just sad about it 😔 We paid him too much money already and will loose out and probably won't be able to have that amount for a new one

04/18/2013-Received SSN
05/02/2013-Greencard received!
