RFE medical and G 325a

Filed  mars 2016 I received an RFE letter two weeks ago for another medical and G325a  visit made since the 3rd but sending the weekly pass but since the may 10 no update on the site and I would like to know how long it takes To examine the case

I'm just curious, did you file with your medical exam included in the packet? I'm asking because you said RFE for "another" medical

That's what I thought too. I came with K1 visa as well, so I'm having a medical exam again before filing AOS. Did I read that right that you filed March 2016? And you just had an update two weeks ago?

They're requesting a new medical because it's been more than a year since his first medical, even if they shouldn't. From what I understand the requirement is that the overseas medical was done less than 1 year ago from the date you file for AOS, not that it expires after a year even if you filed for AOS within that timeframe. Some USCIS employees don't seem to know this though and still send out RFEs.
