Who did you petition for and what is your legal status (USC or LPR)?

9/25/17: sent forms to Chicago, 9/27/17: received by USCIS, 10/4/17: NOA1 electronic notification received, 10/10/17: NOA1 hard copy received. Social Security card being issued in married name (3rd attempt!)

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

my spouse is my petitioner 

what os LPR?

So the petitioner is an LPR and you are their spouse? That's F2A preference category. Expect about 18 months or so from I-130 filing for the PD to become current.

 

Edit: LPR is a green card holder. They would have to be an LPR...if they were a US citizen then your case would be a CR-1/IR-1 there would be no wait at NVC.

Not for this. Even an expedite won't help...you do not have a visa number available to apply for until around May 2018. This is by law since F2A is limited in the number of visas available per year...they cannot issue more than they are permitted and they cannot skip the line.

 

Well, I take that back just a bit. Miracles can happen. But it's not really a matter of USCIS processing speed so much as how many people are in front of you in line.
