Medicade for child of K1 visa holder

My fiance and her child have arrived and I can not find a direct answer anywhere. Does anyone know if the child is eligible to receive Medicade?

I am actually going through a very similar situation. And this is what I've been told thus far, my child is a citizen through CRBA and

she can go under my insurance without any problem. My wife on the other hand would be a green card holder, she will need

to present her documents and would take 4-5 days to get it processed. The best way to approach this is to make an appointment

with your social worker, and your worker can put them under your policy. If god forbid any of them need medical attention, they can always

do a retro(something) to cover them.

I don't know the direct answer to this but I thought that the Affidavit of Support was to prove that you could support them without any sort of government assistance. Can you not put the child on your insurance?
