I can only hope for impeachment and removal, even though I'm not convinced it stands a snowballs chance in hell of happening.

 

Too many people in Congress who get away with this stuff. 

 

People in Congress protect each other (and often times they protect those in the Executive as well) from facing justice, so in order for this to stop people are going to have to decide they're fed up of corruption like this and use the power of their vote.

I don't think she is in Congress anymore as she lost her last bid during a contested primary.  The thing I love about this story is her excuse for this: 

 

"Brown said she was left in the dark about the goings-on with One Door's money, and blamed the theft on Simmons.

Brown said she left those details to Simmons and other hired staffers, and said she should have paid more attention to her personal and professional finances."

 

Read that as it's not my fault because I couldn't be bothered to find out who was paying or how I was able to afford my lavish lifestyle.
