Went back online later on tonight as completed DS-261. Link for IV fee/ Application not activated, so unable to complete that step. Will try again tomorrow.

Your timiline says that uscis sent your case to nvc on jan 22

Did they told you at some point when they actually recieved?

The reason i ask is to calculate how long it actually takes for them to give a case number after they actually recieve it.

It’s looking good for you. Congratulations. NVC received my case on 01/30/2018 

I’ve phoned 4 times and yesterday they said they would escalate it to a supervisor but it could take another 6 weeks to be allocated a case number 😩

I would call them everyday, Maybe that will put some pressure on them.

Hi, I got my case number on Friday 16th Feb by telephone. I completed the DS261 successfully yesterday 17th but it won’t allow me to continue and pay the fees. How did you manage to complete everything so quickly?

I'm pretty sure they have to review the DS 261 before they unlock the fees. Try again on Monday.

I just looked again and there’s a message saying they got my DS261 and to do nothing until I hear from them and to call if I haven’t  heard by March 10th.

I would just log in a couple times a day to see if anything changes. I long on to the site about 3 times a day to see if anything has changed

Beneficiary's Marital Information

Q: My mother is the widowed of my father, she has only been married one time (with my father); Should I fill out the section where it says Place of Beneficiary's Current Marriage? or should I live it in blank?

Q: if I leave it in blank, should I provide my father's info under the section of Spouse 1 and enter the date of his deceased in the field that says Date Marriage Ended (mm/dd/yyyy)?

Q: Should I put deceased next to section 26. Relationship ? e.i. Husband - Deceased?
