Hi guys,

Sorry if my question is silly.I researched this question prior to posting but couldn't find a definite recent answer. We just got our LGS nvc number after emailing  the NVC,our noa2 was approved 3 wks ago.

My question is what do i do next?

Also who schedules the interview? The embassy or the beneficiary?

Any Nigerian K1 visa filer pls help.

Thanks so much

you will have to schedule the appointment by yourself but first check your status at CEAC to see if it show ready for interview then you can proceed to make a visa fees payment of 90,100 at GTB  and book your appointment on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/

then your fiancee will send your his/her tax return of last 3 years and also fill the affidavit of support and send it to you, i wish you best of luck, if you need any help regarding this, you can send my a personal message,

Hello, please after the AOS fee payment of $325 and IV fee payment of $120, do I still have to make the 90,100 payment to GTBank. And why do I have to book an appointment again when the NVC already schedule an appointment for me. This whole thing is a bit confusing, and I received an email from the embassy saying,

Thank you for your email.

If you have already paid the Immigrant Visa (IV) fee, you are not required to make any other payment for the Visa application or visa fee (sic).

are you in the USA now or you just want to apply for a visa ? if you just want to apply for a k1 visa you need to pay 90,100 unless if are applying for CR1 which is spousal visa...but your profile says k1 visa...

No, I'm in Nigeria my interview is in few days. So I need to pay the visa fee after all the payments made?

The AOS and IV fee does not pertain to K1'w That's the fee's for those filing I-130 and they pay at NVC.
You just have your Visa fee to pay at the GTB bank.
Okay now I am confused. Are you a K1 or a CR1. If so you have paid all you will pay until you receive your Visa then there's the Green card fee (Immigration fee) of $220. Paid either before you leave your country or after you arrive in US.

Thank you for your reply, I'm a K 1 applicant but i won't have to book a date again and if I would it'd be the same date NVC booked me
