Hello All

 

My Vietnamese fiancee needs some help after the NOA2 when she needs to gather documents , complete online DS-160, and other steps that is required.  She is not fluent in English so she may needs some help.  Anyone can help or knows someone in Ho Chi MInh city who can help her out.  I am not in need of an lawyer but someone who understands English/Vietnames and is familiar with the K-1 visa process and can provide her with some help if needed.  We are willing to pay a fee for their help.

I am also a Vietnamese girl and now living in HCMC. My fiance is in Ohio state. We are also waiting for NOA2. Nice to meet you here

There are alot of companies in HCMC can supply instruction/procedures for K1 visa with costs requirement but I think I will arrange myself since there are tons of information online we can search and download, rather than pay alots of money to those company but not sure about passing interview or not. If you still need, let me know then I can give you 1 to contact to.

You can help her fill out the DS 160. I did it for my fiancée when we were going through the k1 process. Have a look at my timeline on my signature.

Ditto on what zeta054 said above. You can log on to the website and help her fill out the DS-160 as well as schedule the interview appt. She will need to go pay for the visa fees herself but anyone can do that at a local VN post office. Email her the interview appt confirmation and confirmation letter from the DS-160.  She will need to print out the interview appt confirmation to take to medical exam, vaccination, and, along with the DS-160 confirmation, to be allowed inside the consulate. She may call the panel doctor to schedule the med exam appt.

 

Other documents that she will need for the interview can be obtained by going to the Justice Office (Justice Check #2) and Passport office. She should already have a copy of Ho Khau, birth cert, and passport photos.

 

There is really nothing to it. You do not really need to pay someone to help. I did most of the work remotely (even called and scheduled the med exam for her).
