Hello Guys,

I just got my NOA2 the last march on the 27th, till now i didnt receive any notifications from NVC about they receiving my case, we called them to inquire about it but they said they didnt receive it yet and it can take up to 6 weeks, i dont know if thats normal to take this long for them to receive it, and something else iamk worried about is that on the NOA2 it says that the petition is only valid for 3 months, so with this slow processing time, my petition would have been expired by the time i got to have the interview at the embassy!! Does anyone have some infos or experience about it? thanks all!

Take it easy on petition validity part. When NVC forward your case to the local Embassy or Consulate, they will automatically extend the petition validity to complete your case so don't worry. I have a case NOA2 dated 3/25; sent to NVC 3/30, NVC Welcome Letter dated 4/6, mailed out 4/7 for you to reference the estimated timeline. Keep waiting a bit more.

Don't worry, just keep calling NVC time to time to see if they have received your petition from USCIS. It can take up to 6 weeks and in many cases a bit less. It took us 3.5 weeks after the approval until NVC received our case. Wish you the best of luck and hopefully any day now they will receive your case. :)
