Expedited K1 Visa Application

I am a law enforcer, single mom and currently living at the dorm provided for female personnel of our Unit together with my 10-year old daughter for security reason and of course due to monetary restriction (im only earning like $200 in a month due to previous salary loans) . Recently, my fiance file for K1 and K3 for me and my daughter. Im wondering if we could use our current living situation as a reason to expedite our visa processing. Obviously living inside the camp and in a crowded room  with 6 other girls is not the best place to raise a kid. My fiance offered financial assistance to get us through but another reason why i preferred to live in a dorm is that nobody will look after her while im working. One aspect that we are looking into is, if our visa will get approved after 5 month (which is the usual timeline), my daughter will be delayed for the school opening (which is around August). I hope somebody could answer my query.

I don't think it would qualify for an expedite, sorry. You can definately try for it though.

From the expedite cases I have seen over the years on here and other forums, your case doesn't seem to qualify.

I agree with the others...I don't think you have a strong expedite case. Sorry. At least it's only a ~6 month wait for a K-1.

 

Edit: And I think you mean K-2, not a K-3.
