My wife (India) is in this process of getting a CR-1 Visa. We've been married for 8 months. The first time I went to India for only 10 days (was active duty in US Navy and couldnt get much time off), got married, and came back to the states. 6 weeks later I got honorably discharged because of a condition from the US navy so I had another trip to India which I stayed for 2 months and formally spent time with my wife. (I hope this helps our case and proves as substantial).

Currently our file is in transit to the US Consulate/Embassy in Mumbai.

Once granted the visa (I hope), what can she expect the the point of entry? Can she still be denied and why? Will they contact me if they do so? What happens after

Yes, she can still be inadmissible by CBP since they have the authority, but for extreme reasons I believe.

Criminal background, problems/conflicts with her documents, suspicions of malicious intent, if the person in a risk/danger for others...

Well she's got no criminal background or any misdemeanors. Documents should be all update to date (assuming the USCIS wouldnt have approved the I-130 in the first place if they werent), and if she was a risk/danger for others I probably wouldn't be married to her lol.

I'm just anxious so I'm trying to prepare for worst case scenarios. I heard people flying to the states may have to give up their social media passwords to customs which led me to believe they're giving people a hard time who aren't even a risk. And she's go no social media because shes from an isolated village in a developing country thats not up to date with technology lol

Well, you asked what could be the reasons xD.

Idk what others could turn against GC holders while entering.

Since she already crossed through all this process to check her background, she should be ok. I understand you about preparing for worst scenarios, but besides of the normal security checks at the airport, plus CBP checking all her documents matches, she shouldn't get any troubles.

Remember that she must carry with her all the documents previously submitted, including medical examination + the sealed package she will receive at the embassy.

About social media, yes, is not something new, but recently is official even for consular offices around the world, since is part of the new security policy of U.S.

Besides of someone holding conversations or actions in social media that could turn in a security/terrorism threat, social media check is more useful for CBP when trying to determinated the real intentions of foreigners traveling under non-immigrant Visa.

Example: someone traveling under B2/B1, saying that only wants to meet Mickey Mouse on vacations for 2weeks, but the social media/phone of this person is full of evidence that he/she is going to stay in the U.S to work illegally.

Where is she landing? There are POE reviews to read here on VJ, if you'd like to hear from others going through the same POE. :)

Try not listening to every friend's whim. That's a tendency I seem to have read about Indian nationals on several fora. Trump ain't gonna give your wife a hard time at POE; social media password requests are rare, and requested only if an individual has raised an officer's suspicion. CR-1s are rarely denied at poe for bonafide marriages.
