Good day sir/ma,

had my interview for k1 visa on the 21st of march 2017  ,And my spouse forgot to fill the  form( i-134) affidavit of support form,

the visa officer notified me about the form after the end of my interview to provide the original form of i-134 that i dont have at hand

and she asked me to tell me spouse to send the original copy of the form to the embassy where i was interviewed  and severed me 

a white paper guideline  but at the top of the white paper she gave me  its was written temporarily refused and my status online is 

showing administrative process . pls how do we go about this because am really confused and frustrated ?????

You just have to send them what the ask for, the i134 (and supporting docs?) in this case. If you can do that in a timely manner, the processing of your visa will resume.

 

Also, if you're applying for a K1, be careful not to refer to your fiance as your spouse. Being married would invalidate your visa.

Your fiance(e) is to do the following:

• Complete the I-134 and sign it
• Get a bank letter 
• Get a letter from his employer
• Download the tax return transcripts for recent years including 2016 or the Form 1040 along with the corresponding W2 if he hasn't filed his 2016 taxes
• Gather the last few pay stubs

After he has gotten everything, he need to forward you the I-134 as well as all the supporting so that you can submit them to your local embassy. If you have submitted the other documents EXCEPT for the I-134, it's fine if you just send the I-134 alone to the embassy.

thanks for the quick response  and the correction on how to address my fiance.  i will be mailing the supporting document through our local post this week to the embassy  and is it advisable to mail the document to the embassy with my international passport ? because the white paper guideline she gave me is telling me to mail in the missing document with my international passport ? .

If you are mailing your passport also, please use a more secured mail service such as FedEx, UPS and the likes that are available in Turkey  It will cost money but better to have your passport and documents arrive at the embassy than losing your passport.

thanks but  the instructions from the US consulate in Ankara Turkey is there  to mail in the missing document with international passport (free of charge) through a designated Turkish local post ..

Just follow the instructions as given. If you're worried about using the regular post, contact the embassy to see what they recommend.

Make sure that the I-134 has a wet signature, meaning your fiance needs to fill it out, sign it and then mail it to you. The supporting documents can be copies and do not have this wet signature requirement.

The embassy has an agreement with the local post (PTT), they will also send your package and visa to a PTT office you designate, so you should use their services. Just ask for certified mail, request signed delivery etc. which is safer than standard mail.

my document has been sent back to the selected courier post of my choice . but i do not know if my visa has been issued . because  US consulate only sent me an email to pick up my passport and documents at the selected Turkish post ..and currently my status on US visa application online is showing my current status AS send document ...Please the question is  if visa was issued will the US consulate notify me through email ??

Did you check the status of your visa using this website? https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Try both immigrant and non-immigrant, I can't remember right now which one you were supposed to pick.

The consulate's website has been updating forever and information is not clear there.

 

So you are saying they sent you an email to go pick up your passport from the post office? Then you can do that and see if they issued the visa.

 

The US Consulate will not notify you via email about the status of your visa.

You will however receive a text and email from PTT when your passport and documents arrive at the office you picked.

have an urgent question to ask , after my interview  on 21st of march 2017 i was told by the interviewer that form i-134 was missing and she demanded me to to ask my fiancee to mail it to the US embassy in Ankara Turkey  in charge of K1 visa .we were able to mail the document she asked for with my international passports through a courier service  designated by the embassy .And only my passport was sent back to me  and all the initial documents that i took  to the embassy on my interview date was withheld .More importantly my visa application status online is showing administrative processing .please advice me what should i do from here ? because am truly confused !!

It seems that they need to do more checks. All you can do is wait right now. When they are done with their checks, they will request your passport again.
