Hey cartoboy, glad to see you here! Mine was the same as yours...sent April 19, received April 21, so we can see how things compare. My check hasn't been cashed yet. Hopefully soon.

They're really slow at cashing cheques! Very different from when I was filing for the K3 when my cheque was cashed almost immediately. They received mine on April 17 and only cashed the cheque a couple days ago. My cases aren't in the system yet and haven't received the first NOA yet either.

I'm alreday in here. I updated it before, but that never went through. I got rid of my entry from 4-19.

Misa, Thanks for the info on your payment. I think my K-1 check was cashed in about 10 days and the NOA 1 came after 7, I think.

Probably a dumb question, I filed with my 2 daughters. We got all a touch on our I-130's yesterday, does this mean that we are being processed together or is it just a coincidence? I've heard of children being adjusted after their parent, I'm just curious to see what is the norm in this situation.

Also,they haven't touched our I-485's in 2 weeks. Do they go to different places?

04/18/2007 - NOA received for other daughter (delayed by incorrect address).

04/27/2007 - Biometrics scheduled - arrived 2 hours early due to overcautious husband, let us go in early and were all done 15 minutes later.

04/30/2007 - All touched.

06/21/2007 - All touched.

06/28/2007 - Initial interview scheduled for all.

06/28/2007 - All approved with stamp.

07/02/2007 - Received Welcome letters.

The processing dates website has been updated as of April 18th:

I-485 Cases are October 13, 2006 (187 day backlog)

I-765 Cases are January 27, 2007 (81 day backlog)

So

If your receipt dates are April 15th (average for the month)

You are looking at your cases being handled:

I-485 Cases are October 19, 2007

I-765 Cases are July 5, 2007

And this is approximately what it was last update, so things appear to be moving along as expected.
