Still celebrating. Woohoo! Journey completed. You can color my timeline in red. Ceremony lasted 45 mins, we were only 40 new citizens and everything went soooo smooth. Thank you guys, from the bottom

@Hagrid @Angel19 I am a SF filer.  Send N-400 on 2/28/17 and have Oath on 11/9/17, that’s 254 days. I think you are still well within normal processing times.  Just be patient, your day will come.

@hellostranger57 @lilebenz: I doubt there's a way to transfer to online filing. I created an account and I can't even add my case. Upon signing up I was invited to start my N-400 application but that's probably because of the link I used to get to what seems to be a semi exclusive site. 

 

Right now I'm just trying not to lose my mind over this. I'm in line as of May 26 so I'm hoping I'll see an interview letter by months end.

I played around with the questionnaire a bit. When I put that I have been a permanent resident for 5+ years (I'm not - I'm applying based on 3 year rule), it allowed me to proceed to online filing. I'm sure they have other qualifications too for filing online, just not sure what all of those are exactly.

3/16/2017 (Day 270) - Online status updated - new card was mailed to me

3/20/2017 (Day 274) - 10 year green card on hand!!

Do they have info that suggest that someone applying based on the 3 year rule can't e-file?

I don't think there's much info on who can and cannot file online yet. If you find a specific list of requirements to be able to file online, please do share!

Actually, I just checked to see if I am eligible and yes, I could've filed online based on 3 year marriage. I wish I knew about this sooner, it would've saved me a lot of headaches.

We recently had this exact same conversation in the May thread. Everyone (including me) was like "wait... e-file?!?!"

 

For future applicants I think we should sticky a thread about e filing or at least mention it in the forms section of VJ. I usually feel like I'm pretty on top of things and that e file totally slipped me by. I'm not too stressed since I still believe we can get through the process by the end of the year, but if e file is faster I certainly would have done that!

April 14: Real checklist for AOS (saying tax number was incorrect when it wasn't)
April 30: Another AOS checklist, for proof of employment (which was already sent)
May 1: Checklist for IV- certified marriage certificate (even though I sent a certified one originally)
July 1: INTERVIEW!!! - APPROVED!
July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!
 
ROC: 366 days
April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29
June 20, 2016- Biometrics
April 28, 2017: Approval
May 4, 2017: Approval letter arrived
May 15, 2017: GC arrives in mail

Filed on June 13th but system gave me a NOA date of the 12th.  I also read somebody else encountered the same issue.  So make sure you file at least 89 days prior to avoid any complications. 

 

 

I received my NOA immediately after I paid online.  Figerprint appointment arrived 3 days after on ELIS, I did an early walk in and now waiting for my online status to change. 

 

Some reported Efile moves faster than paper file, I will have to see.

3/16/2017 (Day 270) - Online status updated - new card was mailed to me
