Hi everyone,

My friend's petition for K-1 visa has been recently approved by USCIS after an RFE. On the approval notice, it says that it will be forwarded to NVC.

He has already requested all tax returns (transcripts) from IRS.

He is trying to figure out what the next steps are.

Will NVC schedule a visa interview? Will he have to send his tax transcripts to NVC, Embassy or his fiancee?

Would someone briefly describe what happens next and approximately what the timelines are. His fiancee is going through the US Embassy in Moscow, Russia.

Thank you!

He needs to send his tax transcripts along with the I-134 to his fiancee. His fiancee will have to bring those documents to her embassy besides a new letter of intent dated closer her interview date. Also, it's recommended that the fiancee is sent the full set of the I-129F paperwork for her review. Don't forget a copy of the NOA2!

Here's the Moscow embassy's information page http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Russia&cty=Moscow Your friend can read more about scheduling interview and medical via the link.
