I have posted a few times on this subject and got some good feedback.  But, I did some more research on my mailing of our N-400.  Our packet was delivered on 3/1/2017.  Cashier's check as of date not cashed.  Included in packet the G-1145 E-Notification and have no text/email after the instructions says 24 hours after receipt will notify by text or email.

After researching further on our tracking notice from USPS.  I just realized I mailed it to the correct PO Box in Phoenix, AZ, just priority mail using the Post Office packaging at the PO Box  with the zip code of 85036.  This is the correct address I mailed it too.  On my receipt from the Post office it also shows Zip Code 85036.

Now I believe the reason I have heard nothing yet is because I went back on the USPS Tracking site keyed in the Tracking number and it shows it was delivered, but the Zip Code they show is 85034.  This is the Zip code you are to send it too if you were using UPS or FedEx.   Apparently it was delivered to the wrong Zip Code.

I sent an email to the USPS regarding this, but I know it will take days or a week maybe  before they response

Any opinions out there?? Even if the USPS for some god reason delivered it to Phoenix's physical address instead of the PO BOX should I not still should of been notified by now.  Or maybe it was put into a wrong Box seeing they delivered it to the Wrong Zip Code.

Any help on this or good advice or opinions on what to do.  I asked a few days ago but got no response on a contact number or email address to Phoenix's Lockbox location, is there one that anyone knows of

I will wait till the end of the week 3/17/2017, and If I still have had no response or E-notification, so I put stop payment on the Cashier's check and reprint everything and get a new check and resend the packet with the fee and the documentation, or would this mess things up.

Please help.

Many thanks,

s&j, thank you for responding, not sure what the I-485 is, but maybe the requirements, fee, documentation and procedures are different than the N-400

All I know is there is no reason for the USCIS to offer the services of E-notification (G-1145) 24 hours after receiving your N-400.

If they dont utilize this, they should not offer it.  I know if you do not attach the G-1145 with the packet, then they say it takes 2-4 weeks to receive notification by USPS, then I would not be worrying.  Again, I dont know how much of a delay or problem it is that the Post Office delivered our packet to a post office in Phoenix, but delivered it to the wrong ZipCode.   That is the concern.

Is the I-485 have the same requirements and procedures as the N-400???  Sorry , not familiar with that form.

Thank you

I-485 is to adjust status.

If you're worried call USCIS and see if they have anything with your tracking number. Sometimes they get back-logged and your file probably just ended up in a big pile for one officer to go through. The G-1145 never works within 24h. With my I-129F petition it worked after 5 days I believe, with my I-485/I-131 it was 20+ days. So sometimes it varies. Be calm, it'll come.
