Well, your lawyer is technically right. I'm using same than for the i129f for the DS160. I scanned it and resized it myself, and worked just fine.

Just taking new ones for the interview because it might be either to close or past the 6 months mark... So no sure they care, but playing it safe.

Yea I could just scan it in too.. thank you!

Hello everyone,

So I did get a letter from NVC saying they shipped to embassy in Manila and that they would call my fiance when it is time to schedule interview.

so just a few questions if anyone is willing to help. Thanks in advance.

Just want to take all the proper steps in the right direction.

we are currently trying to figure out how to get her police certificate from lebanon which could screw things up royally.

1 - Is it better to call embassy to see if they are ready?

2 - When are fees due and is there a link.?

3 -. Does fees have to be paid before medical online registration?

Best of luck again to all.

Thank god for this community

Congrats!!!   You are rolling along :D

1st  Here is Lebanon police clearance info

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/LE.html

2nd  Here is a pretty good site with links to help you - step by step links

http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa

also, Hank has a good list too - more to the point

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/

Wait for ceac to say READY then pay visa fee at bank and submit DS-160 - print confirmation page for interview and SLEC and CFO.  Make interview appointment

meanwhile, get your cenomar and NBI if you have free time before 'READY' on ceac

Order Lebanon police clearance -and any other 6 month residence police clearance

schedule cfo - yeah - takes appointment   Schedule online. Read all about what they want you to bring with you - a truckload of documents lol

Go online and pre-register for medical at SLEC

Gather documents like bona fides, birth certificate etc

make copy of NVC letter for SLEC, copy of bio page for SLEC, snd take 3 passport pics to SLEC

THat's a nutshell of what you have to do, I probably missed something here and there.

@AnJ Co did a great job putting this all in a nutshell. The only thing I can say is use the websites he gave you for the step by step. There it will answer those questions you stated in your post from above, but also will answer a ton more for you.  It will save you a TON OF TIME and mistakes. The only thing I would correct from what AnJ gave you is you do not have to wait for READY to move forward with paying your interview fee, completing the DS-160 and scheduling your interview. By the time you get all that done your case will be set for READY.

Unfortunately we never thought to ask them for it.. I think I'll just have him go take new ones! My attorney sucks. He didn't even tell us this.. he gave a short response after I asked and said "no new photos".

Ridiculous!

Thanks again!

There is a lot of free information for those processing through Manila. The link will save you a TON of time and eliminate what you are now facing.

Oh my god my fiance just messaged me and we were approved! I was super nervous for the interview for some reason, so I spent like an hour just curled around my phone. It went super quick for him, he said literally maybe 20 minutes maximum between each spot. And no questions about my joint sponsor (was super worried) or really anything about us. Just glances through the paperwork and approved!

WELL!!! :D CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

I was on the phone with my dad telling him the news and I just started crying, he was very confused lol. It's hard to explain the feeling of it all being over, and it being 2 weeks until I can hug my fiance again.

Just looked on ceac

This means time to call embassy in manila right?

I still have to mail all my documents to my fiance.

At least we have time to prepare now

Ahhhhhh  A glimpse at my future........  oh, sorry             Yeah      call the embassy    er     or schedule interview on their website.  I believe there are still some slots available in September.  Sneak a peak for me and let me know what is still available if you think of it.

Gather your documents, that Lebanon certificate may be a pain in the delay department, hope not
