Hi guys how are you all doing here! I just got my NOA of my AOS I-485 from mail after 10 months of filing. And I'm going to receive my green card after 3 weeks.

My question is do I need to renew my EAD/AP(combo card) ? What I know is you have to renew the combo card if you have not receive your green card yet 3 to 4 months before your EAD/AP expires.

What about my situation that I will have a green card on the next 3 weeks and my EAD/AP will expire by July 25, 2017.

I appreciate your response, thank you so much.

Once you get your green card you will no longer need the EAD/AP card. The combo card is simply a temporary authorization until the green card comes. The green card gives you authorization to work and travel. So no need to renew.

But like you said, if for some reason there is a delay in receiving your GC then yes you would need to renew it if it is about to expire.
