HELP - applying citizenship with criminal record prior to Green Card

Year 2010 - I Received Green Card via marriage petition and granted relief by immigration judge ( IJ approved 245i adjustment of status - I submitted my I-485 application in conjunction with I-601 (base on my criminal record) ) - and DHS waived appeal and decision became final.

- It has been 7 years and have clean record since green card was issued.

Can I apply for citizenship now? Will I have issues with my prior immigration violations before Green Card.

Contact an immigration attorney. From several posts I've read, it depends on the crime. If nothing major you will be okay. Major in the sense of CIMT.

If it is, you may not be able to be naturalized at all.

I checked the list and none in the category. My offense was CIMT misdemeanor. I consulted with immigration lawyer and said it should have no impact on my application - GMC requirement due to the fact that this criminal issue has been waived by IJ and approval of my green card in cour.
