I'm so sorry, I can say I know how you feel. Some days are better than others, but many end up in tears. I try to do the same, my husband is very positive so he likes to think things will work out for the best and everything will end up in a happily ever after but I'm freaking out a little, worried about many things. I'm hoping the fact we are from not so desirable countries won't affect our petitions, but it seems that we do get to wait longer than certain countries, and that's the unfortunate reality of our Journeys. In comparison other countries have to wait even more than us and face more scrutiny as well. It's just a heart wrenching, exhausting roller coster of a journey for so many people.

I think you should have a little faith and only worry about it when it's way past your time frame. You still have a few months to go as NSC still in November.

See this link with recent approvals and all the beneficiaries are from Mexico! I hope it ease your mind a little and I'm sure you will get it when it's Feb filer's turn!

Update once again

now i can see the website updated with the following message

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

On June 29, 2017, we sent your case, Receipt Number YSC....., to the Department of State for visa processing. You can check the status of your case at the National Visa Center after six weeks from the above date by visiting www.nvc.state.gov. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address.

does it mean the case was approved.

and what would be the next steps?

thanks everyone, this forum is a life saver
