Please do not.  Unless he has prior legal issues or has come to the US and overstayed his stay here.  If you explore this website, you will see details on how to go about filling out the forms and if you not sure about something, just ask! A lawyer is just a waste of money and most of the time, they do not do anything to help your case.

Agreed with above. While some pay an agency with attorney backing (which is a lot cheaper still than hiring a lawyer by themselves), if you're case is simple with no major flags or anything then you might as well save the money and do it yourself.

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

@Ben&Zian you are so right and i totally forgot about the agencies! lol Thanks for watching! 

 

@MyMistaLovaLova I agree. We also were able to get a lot of questions answered on a k1 visa Facebook page that we were invited to. 

 

PSA Im sorry if in the video it sounded offensive that we don't even need a High school education to file a K1 Visa. What I was trying to communicate was that we don't need a 7 yr degree like a Lawyer to accomplish this task.
