Administrative Processing without any form given for J-1 visa

I had my interview at the consulate office last week, January 5, and the consulate told me that I should expect to receive my passport in 1 week. He didn't tell me I was approved or not. He gave back my training plan (DS-7002) but kept my DS-2019 form together with my passport. I checked the CEAC website to see the status of my application and it says Administrative Processing and it has been like that since January 5. I'm not sure if they need more documentation from me to support my answers to the CO's questions. He never gave me a form. He never asked to see my SEVIS receipt. He just asked me if I did pay the fee. Am I under further administrative processing? My other mates who are also under the same J-1 visa internship program who had their interview on January 6 told me their CEAC status are already Issued. My start date in the US is next week. I'm really hoping nothing is wrong. I hope someone can help me or tell me what they did if they were ever in the same situation that I am in right now. Thank you to those who will reply. :)

Hi chefniks, we have the same situation. I just had my visa interview last Jan. 27 and my visa status is AP. I am also worried bc my internship will start soon. Until now, do you have any update about your visa? Did they send it to you already?
