K1 visa Cali processing

Hello everyone!

 

So I saw that on visa journey says that the current processing times for K1 visas at the California Center are on the 17th of November 2016 and that this information is related to the information that the users update.

If so...is that true? Is California processing those times for 17th November? I saw there's people who got their NOA1 on 8th November and still either didn't get the NOA2 or they just didn't update it.

K1 Visa Process

Nov. 2016 - Applied for K1 Visa
Nov. 2016 - NOA1 

April 2017 - NOA2 (6 months!)

April 2017 - Arrived to NVC

April 2017 - Got the # from NVC

May 2017 - Case left NVC

May 2017 - Arrived to Embassy

May 2017 - Got Package 3 

May 2017- Got Package 4

May 2017 - Interview [APPROVED!]

June 2017 - Visa arrived home

June 2017 - Made it to the US. Finally with my future hubby!!

July 2017 - Married!

AOS Process

August 2017 - Started AOS

August 2017 - NOA1

Sept. 2017 - Biometrics

19th Dec. 2018 - Interview date  [16 months]

Dec. 2018 - GC processing

29th Dec. 2018 - GC arrived home! [10 days!]

That means that at least one user reported getting their NOA2. It does not mean all/most people who have a NOA1 on or before that date are processed. Every petition is looked at individually, and the specific processing times can vary based on all sorts of factors.

 

It's also possible people just haven't been on this site to update their status, or even know that a NOA2 was issued yet.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
