forms needed to file for the spouse of US Citizen?

If you are already married, then you would use form I-130 to obtain a CR-1/IR-1 visa (depending on how long you have been married). Expect 12-18 months for processing. Once in the US, your spouse will obtain a green card and can work.

If you are not yet married and wish to marry in the US, then form I-129F is used to obtain a K-1 visa. That visa is good for 6 months and has a duration of 90 days to marry, and cannot be re-issued or extended. This process takes roughly 6 months or so to obtain. After marriage, you would file for AOS via form I-485 (as well as AP and EAD) to get a green card.

The documents to include are listed ion the I-130 guide that I linked to above (http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1). The affidavit of support is provided before or at the interview (depending on the consulate). This occurs after you send the I-130.

 

Edit: I also noticed your profile says you are filing for an F-2A visa. That visa is for spouses of a LPRs, not USCs. The CR-1/IR-1 is the visa the USC would file for their partner.
