Is anyone else waiting for the green card for a long time?

Our case, we got visa (CR-1) in March. Entered the US in May, and paid the ELIS immigration fee in june. the case tracker still shows "user defined error" 

i have called about this a few times and they keep telling me to wait and be patient. is this normal? someone told me to stop calling them because the more you call the more they delay. is that true? i'm paranoid now and not calling because if that's true that that's............. just wrong. and very unfair. wth am i supposed to do?!

ormal 120 days they say it can take. Call USCIS request to talk to a Tier 2 Supervisor to see what the issue is.


No it doesn't delay you to call. Thats a myth. Its your case call. An INFOPass appointment takes too long to wait for so call USCIS frst thing on tuesday (I think they are closed monday).

And until the card is sent to production you will get the error. Once its sent to prodeuction processing your IOE# will show up. It's frustarting not to track. But do call so you can find out

July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!

August 8, 2011: NVC received file

September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent

Not to be a bearer of bad news, but my wife had an error on her greencard back in March 2016. They put the wrong date of birth on it. We were told that we could fill out an I-90 and not have to make any payment due to USCIS error. Her case was received on April 4, 2016. Biometrics appointment was made and done. Nine months have passed, and we have not heard nothing. Several inquiries were made, but she always got back generic responses from USCIS, as if robots are filling them out. We checked with the processing times, and the center that is processing I-90's had updated their page to report that they are working on April 27, weeks past the time we filed, but we still haven't heard anything. So, my wife called a Tier 2 Supervisor thinking they would know what is going on. She was told absolutely nothing about the case because she claimed she didn't know anything and told my wife just to wait 30 days to file an inquiry again. This woman was very rude to my wife. A Level 2 Supervisor, huh??? Wow!!! So we are to file an inquiry just to get another generic notice? Sometimes I wonder if they ever looked at the file.
