I am not really sure of the steps for K1 but do message Mmagic he was very helpful with K1 process.

In my understanding you are to received packet 3 with interview date but since it shows ready you might as well get in contact with the Embassy. They do reply on email. You can do your medical at this point anyway it has 6 months validity. God bless on your case.

You should have started the process the minute your case was approved and CASE and INVOICE number were issued from NVC just for the sake of time saving. But, you have to make the payment for the K1 visa, complete DS-160 online and have them submitted. After they are submitted, the embassy will send you Packet 3 within a week to ten days. You need to read the instruction very carefully especially regarding police report from SG. When you get to that point and need help I will be happy to help you. Also, "if" fiance from the Philippines, she/he needs CENOMAR send directly to the US Embassy in SG. Hand carried will not be accepted. Fiance can request one online. As far as the Medical goes, it states that medical must be taken 10 days prior to the interview. I know many took the Medical Exam after receiving packet 3 by calling the clinic and taking a copy of the letter in packet 3.

For now, just foucus on completing DS-160 and the payment and sumitting it. After that you will go the next step.

Hi! so to make things clear,

They would only send the packet 3 when, DS-160 form is submitted? And, packet 3 is sent, according to the address stated in DS-160?

My NVC case status still stating that it is "In transit" to consular section, so what do i need to prepare for now?

Even if it is in transit, you have the case and invoice number. So, yes, you can start the process by making payment and completing DS-160 online. Your case should arrive at the embassy within 10 days from the NVC sending it. Yes, packet 3 is ONLY sent out after making the payment and completing DS-160. The address you submit on DS-160 is where you will receive all correspondence from the Embassy, packet 3 and packet 4 and any other communications they will send you.

As I mentioned, it is really important for you to read the information in packet 3 and follow the instructions for COC, Medical and for Filipinos to get their CENOMAR online. I suggest that all documents be ready prior to the interview otherwise if given 221g slip for missing documents etc...it will only delay Visa process by weeks even months, I have seen this happening lately at Singapore Embassy. So be sure all documents are ready and ORIGINAL. Now for the petitioner, if he/she are divorced then they HAVE TO HAVE ORIGINAL COPY OF DIVORCE DECREE FROM COURT WITH THE COURT WET SEAL ON IT. This is very important or they will not accept it.

Hope this helps!
