Request for Initial Evidence (I-485)

hi everyone,

i concurrent filled the I-485 and I-765 with all the supporting documents.

my case was received on 17th November, 2016. We got a notice of RFE yellow letter on 18th December, 2016 saying the need more information to proceed on I-485

My wife is US citizen with enough income, so she is the only sponsor.

We filled the form correctly. but I don't have the form copy to double check.

1. form i -864, affidavit of support, was submitted: however: Page 3, part 4 of the petitioner/sponsor's Form I-864

list someone other than the petitioner/sponsor or Page 3, part 4 is blank.

Submit a completed and signed Form I-864 (revision date of 07/02/2015), for the petitioner/sponsor listed on Form I-130 or form i-29F. Even if a joint sponsor will be used. Also, provide copies of the petitioner/sponsor's most recent federal income tax returns and all supporting documents (W-2, 1099s, Form 2555, and tax schedules)

2. Form i-864 affidavit of support was submitted from a joint sponsor; however the names listed on page 1 and page 3 are not the same. submit a completed and signed form i-864, from a joint sponsor, provide copies of the most recent federal income tax returns all supporting tax document and evidence of their status of the united states citizen or lawful permanent resident.

MY QUESTIONS:
1. What in the point 1 they want, as my wife is the only sponsor, What mistake i would have done. Or where I should do the correction. Kindly help.

2. In the point they mentioned submit a complete and signed Form I-864 (revision date of 07/02/15). What is this date for?

Some ppl have had the problem (when filling out electronically) that the name on page 3 has fallen out when printed. If so it will have been blank and therfore not the same as on page1.

When these are not the same point 2 is generated as a consequence. Saying there is a co-sponsor. Simply put the system just recognizes that these are different and therfore you are asked for the information from this co-sponsor. When the problem is really just that no name was entered on page 3.

The date is the revision date of the form itself. All forms have a date on them.

It looks as all you need is to properly fill out a new i-864.
