Photoraphs requirement?

Hello,

We need to provide 2 photos for the N400 application. However, in the instructions, it says that only applicants who reside overseas must provide two identical color photographs of yourself taken recently. Does it mean that if we live in the US, we do not need to provide pictures? It is confusing. Just to be sure. Let me know

Not seeing anything is these guides about only overseas residents. Would you be eligible for the N400 if you lived overseas? Just wondering.

Per USCIS' website, photographs are to be included if you live out of the country so I didn't include them in my application.

It's a recent change that domestic applicants no longer need to provide photographs.

I have just asked an attorney and he seems confident that the 2 photographs are still required. Do we have an official source for the fact that the 2 photographs are not required anymore for people living in the US? Let me know. This is the last piece of my application. Thank you.

As stated by others you do not need to submit photos if you are applying from the US. your picture is captured when you do your biometrics. I submitted in November and did my biometrics this month, don't stress over this, the lawyer is well misinformed which speaks badly on them. a simple google search proves this: http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/photos-no-longer-needed-applying-citizenship-article-1.2807558
