From what I understand I think I will have to have a joint sponsor since I have lived here in the phillipines for over a year and will have to find a new job when I get back. Shouldn't be. Problem. I have 2 college degrees. First one is in information technology and the second is in nursing. If I want my brother (dentist) and my mother (retired ) to be joint sponsors what will they have to do there in America ?

For the K-1 visa? You need to file the I-134 form for affidavit of support.

For this, yourself will have to fill out the form, and submit all financial documentation associated with it.

For your mother, and brother, they also would have to submit their own I-134 forms with their own financial documentation(W2's, pay stubs, employments letters, ect..)

As long as one of them makes above the 100% poverty line(which your brother being a dentist should be no issue at all obviously), you should be okay.

Now, the Philippines, it very random on if they will accept co-sponsors for K-1 visas.... Now, because you just graduated and are going to return to the US with these degrees, and your mom/brother are willing to co-sponsor, the embassy may accept it.

I can't say for sure; but I wanted to give you this information. Hopefully there is another Philippines member who has gotten to use a co-sponsor for K-1 on here that can give you more detailed info.

I was going to try the visa used with DCF. I'll do whatever it takes tho. She is very special and I love her dearly. I won't leave here without her no matter how long it takes.

Well for DCF you need to marry there in the Philippines. Then submit for the DCF, think it takes 3-4 months. Same things then apply for you and your co-sponsors for I-186 form.
