Hello Everyone,

i gave interview for K1 visa on 20th Oct the Co gave me a slip after the interview 221g was ticked on it and she wrote original Affidavit of Support in the bottom of that paper after asking she told me to tell my fiance to FedEx the mentioned Document and my fiance did the same she sent the document directly to Islamabad Embassy, they received the papers on 25th Oct 2016 from that time my status is ready they updated the date four times. On 16th Nov the status changed to case open and creation date also changed same as update date and on the top the immigrant has changed to non immigrant but one thing remains the same " ready ".

today is 21st they only updated today's date, for 5 days my case is open can anyone help...

Hi Zad,

Well, as I think you have done lots of research about your visa status to understand what's going on! mostly people after creation date changed and the visa status turned to nonimmigrant will go to Ready then to AP then to ISSUED which is the golden word nowadays since some people went to AP recently!

the whole process takes 210 to 230 days from the day 1 to interview.

i applied the k1 case in April 2016 and NVC transferred my case to Islamabad embassy on 2nd of Aug 2016 and US embassy Islamabad created my case on 16th Aug 2016, after submission of DS160 online form they asked me to send my passport and other documents in Sep and i received the interview letter on 28th Sep 2016 for 20th Nov 2016.

no they didn't refuse me i am waiting for their decision they kept my passport and asked for Affidavit of Support of petitioner, next day we sent the document by Fedex to the embassy now we are waiting for them to review the document and send my passport.

Unfortunately males from Middle eastern countries are usually in AP a little while longer than other countries. Hopefully it's nothe too long for you.

my passport is not yet in AP the status is showing ready and today is the sixth day

well, sometimes it takes a while to turn to AP then again to Ready then to ISSUED. however, there is no standard for this process, all you can do keep emailing the embassy to inquire about your status and call DOS might help you to understand sth.

i emailed them but no reply, status remains the same on 7th day i don't understand why they opened my case on 16th if they didn't intend to do anything.Only thing they do is changing the update date which they regularly do on Monday

our pleasure Zad, I would like to tell u calm down and sit back your visa on the way since your visa status update and creation date changed and turned to nonimmigrant that is the sign of your is approved.
