2 Year Green Card and Divorce

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help. My wife received her 2 year green card a year ago but I found out she was having an affair with another man about a month ago. I was in total shock (caught them in the hotel). The only evidence I have is a picture of a map which shows her location in a hotel during when she was suppose to be in school for English class. After she was caught, she left to another state to her auntie's house and left everything behind. She only brought a work permit with her but that is about to expire. I tried to forgive, but she is determine to move on. Then she cuts off all communications. Its been a month and I have not heard from her. I have tried the police and they found her after 2 weeks living with her Auntie in another state. She is not coming back but the hard part is - what about her green card - now that my only option is too divorce - but without here being here - how can I divorce her -and what will happen to her once the green card expires? Will she be deported if I divorce her now? Or will she be deported once the Green card expires? What should I do? Thanks in advance for any helps.

She probably will be able to conitnue on with her GC renewal/roc without you now. Deportation, unlikely unless you can prove somehow with annulment that she entered the marriage with intent of fraud....

Most willl probably say it... so... Move on... sorry this happened.

Move on.

She wont be deported. Infedelity is not a deportable offense if she can show she entered marriage truthfully.

Relationships end...its ok.

Im surprised the police looked for her if she wasnt missing person.

She can still apply with a divorce waiver.

Divorce doesn't stop an immigrant from continuing to have legal status.
