Should I schedule an interview now?

I received my NVC number today, have all the documents needed for my fiance, should I schedule an interview now?

How did you know your received your NVC number? How did they contact you?

My case got appriced Oct 24. But I'm getting text messages today about updates.

In my own experience , once you got the MNL case number , you may now schedule for your interview after having your medical . Medical examination should be done two weeks before your interview .

in fact, I received an SNS # which is from San Salvador, do you think there should me any different procedures? Edited by RonisCruz

I called NVC at 603-664-0700, after 40 min on hold I was able to speak to a rep and gave me the information needed(case#, INN, BID)

It's country specific on the process of interviews as far as I have understood.

But, if you have the NVC case number I would definately go a head and get the medical scheduled and begin looking into setting an interview date also (probably best 14 days after the medical).

And start collecting final information, documentation, the I-134 and financial information.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

RonisCruz , some of the visa holder I talked to they called the NVC and asked for their case number or they got it through email.
