I-751 Service Request

Hello everyone!

I applied for I-751-ROC in November 2015 with VSC. I had not had a response since then no RFE no nothing. I filed a SR 2 weeks ago and i received a response from VSC . This is what i received.

"Your petition/application is still pending consideration. Your file is currently with an officer for processing. Please give 60 days for a response."

What does it mean? Anyone had any experience?

It means VSC is taking forever adjudicating I-751s. If your 1-year extension runs out, go for an InfoPass to get an I-551 stamp in your passport.

But otherwise you just have to wait.

Also, if you are still married to your USC spouse, you can file your N-400 3 years minus 90 days from the "Residence since" date on your GC, even if your I-751 is still pending. If it is still pending, send a copy of your NOA1 for your I-751 with your N-400 packet.
