Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I had my interview at the London Embassy yesterday (October 31) for my CR1 visa.

The interview went well but they gave me a 221g as they send they didn't have enough information about my husbands income as he earns just over the minumum and they said his tax shows he is not earning enough.

They requested we fill out an I864 and give a letter from his company stating how much he earns.

However when I left I realised they kept my passport and I panicked. I told the man on reception and he gave me back my passport. I also realised they didn't tkeep my passport pictures either.

So is this a bad sign? That I now have my passport and passport pictures too?

I'm really panicked that even with the information they have requested they might still deny it?

If anyone could offer any advice I'd really appreciate it!

It is a good sign they they wanted to keep your passport; if course they must give it back when you ask )for all they know, you had a business trip coming up the next day).

Yes they can still deny, but this is unlikely if he is over the poverty limit now with a stable, long term job. If he has any assets (second car, 401k, CD, savings account etc) add that too.

Thank you so much, that gives me some sense of relief.

He does have assets, two bits of land and bonds. I presented that at the interview but for some reason they didn't think it was enough? I was in such a panic though I don't know if all the evidence was there so I will send that with the I864 too.

Thank you agin. Any help is hugely appreciated!!

Do you have any assets you can use also? Do you own a property here? You would be able to use that because you won't be living in it when you move. Or any savings you have can be counted also.
