When your case is received at NVC it usually takes 3-7 days for them to enter it in the system. Seems normal to me.

It depends on which embassy you are going through. Some its a month some it can be 4.

Yes, but somebody described the whole process. Let's speculate about January.   Last date of January - first dates of February they schedule dates for March and agree them with the consulate.

I do not know is this correct but it seems possible if they schedule whole month in advance.

Of course some consulates may be overloaded but here you can see some stats sorting by consulate https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xbLl_8yDgHLeDaLnTrPdYc44J0sjPSFfYCKxlKx6uTY/edit#gid=0

I've also been basing my thoughts on this theory. I wish it was sooner but March or April sounds good for me.

I just got off the phone with them and nothing I didn't expect. Rep apologized for it taking so long. He said he will put it in supervisor review. I asked how long that could take and he said up to six weeks but it is still in normal que as well. So if it gets reviewed first by normal procedure, great, but it also has a note on it letting the supervisor(s) know its overdue.

He was very apologetic and trying to comfort me but I know its just routine. Just more time and patience.

Called today as well. They asked if I've completed DS form etc. (hmm.) and told that they are sending e-mail for supervicor review.. So we are in the same boat with same dates now :)

Yep. If anything changes on my end, I'll let you know. Strange, I don't see very many people talking about this anywhere in VJ.
