I know it's a stupid question, but now that my case has been forwarded to the NVC, should I file I-485 for a Green Card or is the Green Card automatically issued to me?

Please read the guides on this site, it will really help you with what to do

The visa you are applying for will grant you a GC after you enter the US, no need to do anything else to apply for it, it will be automatically issued after you pay the USCIS ELIS fee (after your successful interview) and enter the US
