Work Visa Possibly?

Hello! I'm pretty new to everything here and it's been a whirlwind so far. After becoming good friends with a woman from the Philippines, I visited her and things really took off. We are in the early stages and are preparing a K1 and in the process, I have a job lined up for her when she arrives, working for a pharmaceutical company. My best friend does hiring for the company and will definitely have a spot for her. The bad news is a spot for a great position will be opening up in a month but it will take at least 6 from what I have heard to get her over here If all goes well with the K1. What needs to happen for a work visa? Would this possibly be a better option?

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to provide any info here!

Your best friend's company has to apply for a work visa for her provided she meets the requirements -> that the job can't be done by a US Citizen or Legal permanent Resident.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

there also has to be no one available in the US to fill the position

the employer has to hire the immigration attorney and pay the fees

and a work visa takes more time than a K1 financee visa

Hi! K1 is for a fiance'e visa, when she arrived in the US you need to get married within 90 days. Are you guys planning to get married now?

Getting her in the US as K1 is the fastest and easiest route. Getting her a working visa is almost impossible considering the percentage of people here qualified to do the job. Unless she have an extra-ordinary skills that is not available in the US. Which, I doubt.

As for working in the US, if she gets here on K1, she cannot work right away. You guys needs to get married, file for adjustment of status and employment permit perfore she can legally work. Now if we are looking at timelines, roughly K1 Visa processing is 3-6 months if no problems whatsoever with documents and depending on your location. From getting married to filing for AOS and AEP, the range is also 3-8 months or longer to get the resident card. AEP normally comes ahead, about 2-3 months.

There are several resources here that you can read for more information on the process,

Get her here on a K1, get married within 90 days, and file i485, EAD/AP combo card. Best option overall.
