I-693 for AOS (can we do titers test to prove we've received vaccinations)

I have a quick question about the I-693 immunization requirements.

My wife and two daughters do not have any of their medical immunization records. (lost during a move, and after their family doctor passed away)

We know that they received all their immunizations.

Can we get a Titers test done, and supply the results to a Civil Surgeon?

If the answer is yes, will Civil Surgeons give titers test, or do we have that done at a family practice and give the results to the civil surgeon.

Spencer, the civil surgeon only needs to verify you have had the appropriate vaccinations.

My suggestion, get that done elsewhere and it will be much cheaper. They will give you the "California yellow card" paper and with that the civil surgeon will just verify what's already confirmed and fill out the I-693 for you.

If you don't have medical insurance for them yet, find a public health office and they will do it at much cheaper prices.

Thanks. I've already called every civil surgeon in Ventura and Oxnard. None of them will do just the vaccination section of the I-693. They say it's because section 4 of the I-693 has them sign off that they've given a full examination of the patient. Some of them even want to to the TB test on all three (wife and two daughters)

I'll start calling the civil surgeons between here and LA and see if I can find one that will do just the vaccination section.

I hear ya! I called I don't know how many here in LA and nobody would do it either. I eventually caved in because I didn't want to spend more time calling around and some gave me the runaround too.

Far as I can tell all civil surgeons are on the shady end of medical Dr's, I couldn't find any one would even take credit card payments! All cash!

The guy I went to in the end took my blood and refused to do an MMR Titer on it himself, I'm currently trying to get him to send a copy of the bloodwork to my physician because well honestly I actually doubt he's even ran it at this point.... but also it saves me having to give another set of bloodwork to my physician to check something he shold already have.
