Hello everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone have any issues traveling abroad recently with a "conditional greencard."

Based on the USCIS website, they does not specify "conditional" or "non-conditional", they just stated "International Travel as a Permanent Resident"

We plan to go back to the Philippines this December, but just want to make sure we have/know everything before we go so we won't be in trouble when coming back.

Any information help.

I travelled before I removed my conditions and there were no issues at all. You would be travelling on your foreign passport so being a US resident (conditional or not) is inconsequential to your return.

05/20/16 - Received 1st NOA (dated 05/13/16) & created ELIS acct - Day 10

05/21/16 - Received 2nd NOA (dated 05/16/16) confirming my DOB and address - Day 11

05/22/06 - Biometrics scheduled (online update) and appt letter was mailed on 05/20/16 - Day 12

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/27/16 - Received Biometrics letter in mail - Day 17

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

06/07/16 - Biometrics completed in Milwaukee, WI - Day 28

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

01/26/17 - I am a US citizen!!! - Day 233

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

There should be no problem, you get Conditional greencard since you are married for less than 2 years. That is why we need apply ROC nearing the 2 years anniversary. Just make sure that your ticket name is the same as your passport name. Bring your green card and marriage certificate as supporting docs for the name on your green card.

Oct 13- Case ready to be scheduled for interview

EAD/AP approved - Nov. 1/2 / Received EAD/ AP Combo Card- Nov. 15

50days from NOA1/ 64 days from receipt date.

January 30-  USCIS Ap update, Interview sched on March 3, 2017

Jan 31 - received USCIS letter/ Notice for interview 

March 3- Interview, approved on the Spot

March 8 - received GC

Dec 2018 - To file ROC
