Hello everyone,

I am hoping for help from someone wo has gone through the visa journey in Colombia. My wife lives in Santa Marta and we are preparing for our interview and medical exam. My wife went to her doctors office and they don't have the vaccinations records.

Anyone have any advice where we can obtain these records?

We have filed for a CR-1/CR-2 visas and my two step daughters will be coming at the same time.

Our applications are presently at the NVC to be reviewed and to be forwarded to the Embassy in Bogota.

Also any idea what is the time frame the interview will be scheduled after the Embassy has received the cases?

Just hoping I will have a house full for the Christmas

Tanks any information would be greatly appreciated

I-963, wife was able to get her medical records for her and her daughter, and translated them into English, we had this done in the USA, but times may have changed since then.

Sill needed more vaccinations, but did honor the ones they had, But guess if the didn't have proof, would need to get them done again.

One problem we had, they both had lifetime TB shots, so got a tiny red spot with that skin test, required to take x-rays, and those pills for a year. But the British came our with a more positive blood test, so this is also history.

Ha, since I have been exposed to them, shouldn't I have a chest x-ray too? No, you are not required, but I had health insurance that covered it, doesn't pay anything for that I-693, filing is free, but cost more than a couple bucks to have those forms filled out.

Good luck.
