Thank you very much for all the valuable information.. It's well appreciated.. I have another question or two if you don't mind.

1) Do they only ask for the most recent tax return or otherwise?

2) My fiancée unknowingly stated my country for question 36a & b on the i129f form instead of Senegal where all k1 visas are processed for my country of birth. Should I assume that the NVC will Send it to Senegal instead of the country listed on the form as k1 visas are not processed here.

Unless the instructions from your consulate state otherwise, then yes, only need the most recent tax return, along with proof of current annual income.

If a consulate was listed that does not actually process immigrant/K-1 visas, then it should be sent to the correct consulate by the NVC. Once the I-129F is approved, call the NVC and make sure.
